Labor is the most glorious
International Labor Day, also known as "May Day" or "International Day of Demonstrations", is celebrated on May 1st every year to commemorate the great struggle of the working class.
International Labor Day originated from the workers' strike in Chicago, USA. On May 1, 1886, over 200000 workers in Chicago held a general strike in pursuit of the implementation of the eight hour working system. After arduous struggle, they ultimately achieved victory. In commemoration of this great workers' movement, in July 1889, at the Second International Founding Conference organized by Engels, it was announced that May 1st of each year would be designated as International Labor Day.
Happiness comes from struggle, and the working people are the most glorious. Gorky once said, "Labor is the source of all joy and all good things in the world." This is the interpretation of labor and the true essence of labor. It is because of labor that this beautiful world is created.
On this holiday, we must remember the hard work and contributions of workers. Firstly, labor is the foundation for creating wealth. Whether it is producing goods or providing services, workers need to put in hard work to complete them. In this process, workers not only obtain the material and spiritual needs needed for life, but also create value and wealth for society.
Once again, labor is the driving force behind social progress. In the process of labor, people can continuously learn and master new knowledge and skills, and improve their abilities and qualities. At the same time, labor can also promote technological progress and social development, making contributions to building a better society.
Finally, labor is the foundation for ensuring the happiness of the people. Laborers obtain material and spiritual satisfaction through hard work, and also provide various services and support to society. It is precisely because of the efforts of workers that we can enjoy a better life and welfare.
Love and dedication to work, strive for excellence, turn the blueprint into reality, and carry out the revolution to the end. All call for a spirit of struggle that is not driven by imagination or focused on empty words, and all require step by step to do a solid job. Let us cherish labor, inherit the spirit of labor, and make labor the driving force and source of happiness in our lives.
